Come and support the Bury Standard 4 Group's restoration activities by visiting our Shop coach. Have a browse through all our railway and transport items. 

The shop is our main fund raiser for the ongoing maintenance and restoration of our locos, a meeting place for railway fans and for joining the Group or renewing your Group membership and buying Shares in the Bury Steam Locomotive Company Ltd...

There is a display of the restoration history of 80097.

We also have:

Back issues of magazines on railways, railway modelling, buses, traction engines, aircraft, etc..

Books and  DVD's on railways, locos, road transport, trams, canals and aircraft.

Bury Standard 4 Group clothing, souvenir badges, mugs, keyrings, pens  and fridge magnets.

A range of loco and transport badges.

Railway photos, paintings, postcards - we even have steam train scented candles !!!!!!.

A children's section with railway toys, games and souvenirs.

For the railway modeller we have new and used locos, coaches, wagons, track and layout accessories from the main

manufacturers in  00,   H0  ( especially American and Continental )  and  N  gauges. We also have a selection of Hornby Dublo era locos and rolling stock.

We have hand crafted Christmas and Birthday cards as well as Advent Calendars.

We have our own model railway display and test track.

Our shop coach staff are always looking to buy model railway locos, rolling stock, track and accessories to increase our

sales stock.

We are always extremely grateful for donations of magazines, books and model railway items to add to our shop stocks to

raise funds. 

Workshop visits can be arranged.     Come and see what's going on.     Just ask in the Shop.

Come and visit us for a chat -  Every  Saturday  and Sunday   from  10 am  till  4 pm.   

For our Supporters who are not engineering biased and may not want to work in our Engineering Workshop but would like to get involved with

the Group,  come along and help out in our Shop sales coach.   Hours to suit you,  people to chat to, brews available and you can even watch

the trains go by  (if you wish).  

We're at the East Lancashire Railway's  Bury (Bolton Street) Station off  Platform 2 at the end of the car park fence - which was

the original Platform 1.  We have recently renamed our Shop walkway as  Platform  9 3/4 - come down and visit us.

Look for our  ginormous   SHOP    banner and our  SHOP OPEN  sign.
