The boiler / compensating ring / smokebox have been drilled through and bolted together. An engineering team came in and riveted the assembly together.
The steam heat valve, main steam manifold, top feed clacks and steam brake bracket have been bolted on. The superheater header was lifted into the smokebox and then jacked and packed up into position before being bolted onto the tubeplate.
Our pipe bender has returned to continue with the pipe runs that were not possible without the boiler. The injector delivery pipes and the intermediate lengths up to the clacks were done.
At the same time the cab has been fitted out with brackets ready for further pipe runs. The operating arms for the steam heat and main manifold were fitted and aligned. The main steam pipe flanges, lens rings and elephants have been prepped.
We have made a set of fire irons for 80097.

As the 80097 boiler has been returned all activity has now switched to her.
The Ivatt pony truck stretcher has now been completed and painted.
