BR Standard Class 4 mt  2-6-4T  loco   No 80097

 

Following the returning of the boiler to the frames, final assembly is now progressing well.

 

The rocking grate mechanism, damper controls, injector pipework, top feed clacks and super heater header have all now been fitted. Interior and exterior pipework has been lagged.

 

Work is currently progressing on the steam pressure gauge and pipework, injectors and controls, steam brake pipework, blower pipework, steam heat handle, gauge carriers, cab window fittings and steam gauges. The super heater elements are being fitted.

 

 

Ivatt ‘Mogul’ Class 2 MT 2-6-0  No 46428

The driving wheels have been received back from turning at the South Devon Railway.

 

No current activity is taking place.
