BR Standard Class 4 mt  2-6-4T  loco   No 80097

Good progress is being made with more gauge pipework fitted and the handrail pedestals being made. All the superheater elements have been fitted and bolted up. The main steam pipes to the cylinders are now installed. Painting to the underside of the tanks has been carried out, the bracing bars between the boiler and water tanks fitted, the blowdown mechanism assembled and the vac connections refurbished.

A big step has been the cab roof lifted and bolted in place.
