BR Standard Class 4 mt  2-6-4T  loco   No 80097

 

 

All boiler steel cladding panels have now been completed and the insulation panels prepared. The cladding was removed in preparation for the steam test.

 

Final full working pressure steam tests have now been carried out and the boiler has been passed for use by the boiler inspector and approved for use by the East Lancashire Railways Chief mechanical Engineer.

 

The boiler will now be insulated, reclad and prepared for being put back in the frame.
