Progress towards steam test continues.

The boiler was wheeled partially out of the workshop to blow out debris from within the firebox space between the inner and outer wrappers. This had become evident as the boiler had been inverted so all the old scale tumbled down from the foundation ring onto the crown.

 

The scaffold has been started and will partially be integral to the bogie. This will minimise the disruption when we wheel it out in the future.
