80097 joined the East lancashire Railway's loco fleet following her inaugural Supporters train launch in March 2019. She is now regularly rostered in the ELR schedules and is a favourite on the ELR Footplate Experience (FXP) days.
Our fund raising must continue to enable us to pay off the large loan we took out for the major boiler rebuild and also go towards ongoing maintenance of the loco. Now that we have started work on the restoration of our Ivatt loco, 46428, monies will also be required to enable progress to continue on that project.
