Our loco has been on duty from Wednesday and will be right through until Sunday.

Saturday saw further progress on foundation ring rivet removal. Our team are becoming adept at this. A total of 5 removed by close of play. No damage to either foundation ring or, more importantly the copper inner wrapper. We now have a good working platform inside the firebox. Safer, easier and also protecting the copper from inadvertent damage. 

Stud removal of the mounts on the backhead continues, slowly but we're getting there.

Machining of the brake beams is now completed, for the moment. The next phase will be the manufacture of bushings.

We now have all the materials for completion on site. The transformation of this once derelict vehicle is amazing. Well done gents.
